Boosting Reactions

🚀 Catalysis Meets Hydrogen Innovation on 8 August 2025!

CHI and NUS Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering jointly organised a workshop themed “Boosting Reactions” at the National University of Singapore on 8 August 2025. This dynamic symposium brought together leading hydrogen experts in catalysis and reaction engineering from across Asia and Europe.

🔬 Highlights included:

Prof Kim Do Heui (Seoul National University) on novel NH₃-SCR catalysts with enhanced sulfur resistance.

Prof Lu Junling (University of Science and Technology of China) unveiling frontier orbital interactions in single-atom catalysis.

Prof Wang Shuai (Xiamen University) presenting a new H-assisted pathway in Ru-catalysed ammonia synthesis.

A/Prof Wang Feng (Ryan) (UCL) showcasing operando X-ray spectroscopy for real-time reaction dynamics.

A/Prof Duan Haohong (Tsinghua University) on electrocatalysis for organic synthesis and plastic upcycling.

Prof Zhang Bin (Shenzhen University) introducing phosphorus-based photocatalysts for efficient ammonia production.

We are grateful to be part of the community pushing the boundaries of sustainable energy conversion!
